Once in awhile you meet someone who shines a little bit of light into your darkest nooks and crannies, tidies up the cobwebs, straightens you out, shit like that. Samantha was one such example: i'm the first to admit that it was extremely unexpected to have the young missus blow down the brick walls holding me back at a particular stage in my life.
Perhaps it doesn't come as such a surprise then, that someone i've known for all of 3 weeks has somehow opened my mind just enough for a little more light to shine through the cracks. Newfound understanding, newfound optimism, newfound acceptance of who I am (and arguably newfound rejection)...
Perhaps i'm still capable of being someone more than I already am after all. Either way, my load's a little lighter than its been in quite awhile, and every little bit counts dont'cha think?
